Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering. Department of Civil engineering was established in the year 1990.It Started functioning when the Institute was established. Our department is committed to providing quality technical education that nurtures competent, innovative, and ethically responsible diploma engineers. Through outcome-based education, experienced faculty, well-equipped laboratories, industry interaction, field visits, internships, and project-based learning, we strive to develop the technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional values required to meet the evolving needs of the construction and infrastructure sectors. Our academic practices are aligned with the standards and guidelines of AICTE, MSBTE, and NBA to ensure excellence in teaching and learning. We encourage our students to actively participate in technical activities, skill development programs, research initiatives, entrepreneurship, and community engagement for their holistic development. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, industry collaboration, and lifelong learning, the department aims to produce competent civil engineers who contribute effectively to sustainable infrastructure development and societal progress. For value addition we provide them training in various fields, arrange industrial visits and also organize various events through students association. In current scenario, Civil Engineering is fastest growing field of engineering. Apart from Construction industries, Civil engineering graduate can work in Public Works Department, Water Resources Department, Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, Soil and Water Conservation Department of Government of Maharashtra.
